Amy Remmele, owner of Peak of Success, is the Psych-cess coach, balancing sound psychological lessons with business success principles. As a coach, Amy works with women who are in difficult or challenging relationships, with professionals who want to stand out and make a mark, and with couples. As a consultant, trainer and speaker, Amy works with business owners who want all of their relationships to be an asset and who want everyone in the organization to internalize the company’s sales and marketing strategies to create the best image. She believes that communication and relationship management are the foundational issues for success. In her work as the Professional Relations Specialist with Western New York Psychotherapy Services, Amy is committed to the goal of psychotherapy and counseling becoming as common for people wanting to live their best lives as regular dental checkups are for people wishing to maintain healthy teeth.
As a coach who is devoted to tapping into creativity and alternative skills, Amy has developed some unique talents in connection with her speaking. Amy writes and performs raps for her speaking engagements. She integrates magic and characters into her presentations. Amy helps professionals and business owners to create defining statements and tag lines that really get others to listen.
Amy’s book, Chief Life Officer: Your Life Is The Most Important Business You’ll Ever Own (CLO), uses business as a metaphor of life, outlining people’s inner “departments” and how they function best through an authentic, shared mission. From mapping out a “business plan” and goals for life, through communication and relationship creation, to maintaining and accessing support systems, CLO enables the reader to ask, and answer, life’s vital questions. Amy wrote a chapter on communication for the best-selling book, GameChangers. Amy also co-authored, with Dr. Kent Bath, the book, Re-Phrase It: Adding Empathy and Emotional Intelligence to Your Everyday Life, and the relationship workbook, Empathy, Communication and Conflict Resolution Home Study Program. Amy writes a monthly column for and serves as the column editor for the After 50 News. She also writes columns for the newsletters of the Buffalo Niagara chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), the New York State Women, Inc. Amy writes for and edits the Western New York Psychotherapy Services newsletter.
Amy has been involved with NAWBO for five years as the Program Chair, a Board member and the Awards Chair. Amy is on the Board of Directors, the Mentoring Committee and the Networking Committee of the Canisius College Women’s Business Center. Amy has also been on the Board of Directors and served on the Mentoring Committee and as a Mentor with the University of Buffalo’s Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership. Amy received the Women of Influence Award from Business First in 2009. Amy is a member of the National Speakers Association and judges DECA competitions at the state level. In the past, Amy has served as the convener of the Amherst Task Force for Healthy Communities, as a member of the Advisory Board of the Small Business Council, and as a Board member of the Amherst Chamber of Commerce. Amy was recognized as Volunteer of the Year by the Amherst Chamber in 2005.
Amy balances her career and community service with being the mother of a twenty-year-old daughter and fifteen-year-old twin sons.
